Want greener graphics but not sure where to start? There’s lots of swaps you can make to provide more sustainable graphics, but it can be time consuming to figure out what you need to do. Don’t worry, I’ve done all the hard work, so you can make your stands greener and attract more sustainably minded clients.

Starting with PVC foamboards – you may know it as foamex, forex or palight – is a recyclable material, but requires a quantity of boards to be stored and then collected, along with the associated costs. What about a board that can be recycled with your existing cardboard waste?

Swap the PVC foam board for a fibre board such as Oppboga or Katz and you can. With several other advantages over foamex:

• Fibreboards are more rigid for the given thickness
• Won’t shatter like foamex
• PVC free
• Easy to recycle
• Oppboga boards are made with renewable energy
• Katz offer a short-term outdoor use version

I’ve printed hundreds of these fibreboards, and they are a great alternative to foamex.
