Why would you be interested in green graphics?

    • It’s the right thing to do – it might cost more to print and recycle eco-friendly graphics, but we’ve all seen the mountain of waste left behind in the halls after a rip out, so using greener graphics can help reduce the amount of waste and landfill
    • Make you more money. Hang on a second, I just said it would cost more so how can it make your more money? Well, you can attract the more eco-conscious and bigger clients who are more willing to spend on sustainable prints and recycling schemes. They want to keep their or improve ‘B Corp’ or ‘Carbon Neutral’ status, so you can help with a greener exhibition stand.
    • Reuse – it’s a pretty simple way to save the environment (and money!) but you can re-use graphics to be greener. Got returning clients with the same content every time? Use a tension frame system (TFS) with silicone-edge graphics (SEG) and store them between shows. Reuse logo(s) – every stand will have at least one logo on – use a lightbox SEG or some 3D letters rather than reproducing your client’s logo every time. Bonus is they will look better too!
    • Swap out PVC based materials. You probably don’t use them much in banner form these days as there’s so many better banner substrates available, but if you still are then it’s time to look at the alternatives. There is a lot of PVC-free vinyl on the market now, so alternatives to your current PVC SAV are probably available. Change your foamex panels for fibre-based boards – these can be easily recycled with general cardboard waste.
