Macaw - Modular inlay graphic panels

Product Description

We offer a range of inlay panels printed direct to media, giving you a high quality impactful print that has Velcro pre-installed making panel installation easy. Whether your looking for a single use panel or plan to exhibit at a few shows, we offer the following board types:

DIPSA - a fibreboard made from 100% FSC certified paper which can be recycled with your usual cardboard waste, making disposal easy and eco-friendly. The boards have a unique structure giving a flat, smooth print surface and good rigidity from the lightweight board - ideal for short term use in modular stands. We would recommend using DISPA once, but if you are careful with the boards you may be able to use them for a couple of shows.

Foamex - AKA: PVC Foamboard, Foamalux, Forex, Foamalite or Palight. - These 3mm thick boards are a staple of the exhibition industry as they are lightweight with a smooth print surface and they can be bent around curved panels too. They do need to be handled with care, as dropping them can chip or split the boards, so we only recommend them for short term use of 1 to 3 shows. PVC foam boards are a recyclable material, however there are only a couple of facilities in the UK that can process them and require large quantities for collection, so they're not the best on the eco-friendly scale.

Recycled Foamex - AKA: FOAMALITEre - Similar to Foamex but with a minimum of 30% recycled content from PIR/PCR scraps, which means that pigments from colour inclusions are visible in the sheets and slight colour variations in the sheets may be noticeable in different batches. Recycled foamex can be recycled again in the same way regular foamex is recycled.

Aluminium Composite Material - AKA: Dibond, ACM, Ali-Comp. - ACM is a durable material where two thin pieces of aluminium sandwich a black polyethylene core, giving a strong and very rigid but fairly lightweight sheet which is often used in sign-making as it is rated for use outdoors. ACM panels are an ideal solution for modular graphic panels that you plan to use many times as they are very durable. Prints are produced directly onto the boards, but we can offer ACM panels in a wide range of pre-painted colours or finishes from mirror, brushed metal 'butlerfinish', wood grains, concrete, metal and stone. Bubble board - A 3mm thick 'bubble board' is made of polypropylene so is both lightweight and durable with a high rigidity, which can be recycled. Bubble board is more durable than foamex but not quite as good as ACM, so ideal for use on a few shows.

Graphic Panel Sizes:

Standard modular frames are 992x2480mm and the graphic panel space within is 986mm wide by 2474mm high. Half panels are 495x2480mm with the half panel graphic being 489mm wide by 2474mm high. Please include 10mm bleed on your artwork. We can supply panels in bespoke sizes if your organiser or venue uses different sizes or you have you own frames - please get in touch for a quote.

Delivery costs:

Due to the size of the panels these prints are excluded from standard overnight courier delivery.

We can deliver to you on a dedicated courier provided at a competitive rate, please get in touch for a quote before you order. Dedicated courier delivery starts at £75 for local deliveries (Birmingham, Redditch, Coventry areas) and is approximately £2 per mile for drops further afield. We will always endeavour to keep delivery costs to a minimum.
